Bhubaneswar: Odisha Water Resources department has engaged Jal Prabharis for each district to ensure management of water resources.
The chief engineers and senior officials have been assigned the task of managing the responsibility of Jal Prabharis.
Principal Secretary of Water Resources, Anu Garg has appointed Jal Pravaris for 30 districts of Odisha. She said the Jal Prabharis will work on the basis of 5T and Mo Sarkar initiatives.
Garg said the review meeting of Jal Prabhaaris will be conducted every two months and they will submit their reports to the Chief of Water Resources every two months.
