Jajpur: Three officials including a junior engineer have been placed under suspension for their alleged involvement in irregularities in various developmental projects of Jari panchayat under Binjharpur block in Jajpur district.
The officials placed under suspension are junior engineer Tushar Patra, panchayat officer Prakash Jena and Gram Rozgar Sevak (GRS) Partha Sarathi.
Acting on the allegations levelled by the locals, an investigation was initiated. Following a probe, Collector Chakravarti Singh Rathore suspended the JE, panchayat officer and GRS.
While further inquiry into the matter is on and action will be taken against the erring officials, said the Collector.
