Jajpur admin imposes restriction for public visiting govt offices till July 8
Jajpur: Jajpur Collector Ranjan Kumar Das has imposed restrictions for the public visiting government offices in the district till July 8 midnight. However, public offices will continue to function by adopting COVID-19 guidelines.
In a notification from Collectorate, Jajpur, it has been cited that during the last 48 hours 81 positive cases of Coronavirus has been detected through random sampling test. A senior officer has also tested COVID-19 positive.
The district administration also observed that after partial relaxation of lockdown norms, large number of public is coming to the Collectorate and other government offices located at the district headquarters for various works and grievances which are also not of emergent in nature.
Following this, the Jajpur Collectors has ordered that “No public individually or in group shall visit govt offices in Jajpur till July 8 midnight.
In case of urgency, the public may contact the head of the office/other officers through their telephone, mobile phone, WhatsApp and email. The officer concerned will decide the nature of urgency of the work and act upon accordingly in order to avoid public inconvenience.
