IPL Auction 2022: Shreyas Iyer Joins KKR For INR 12.25 Cr; Punjab Kings Sign Kagiso Rabada, Shikhar Dhawan


New Delhi: The IPL 2022 Auction has officially begun in Bengaluru with the welcome address by chairman Brijesh Patel. BCCI representatives Sourav Ganguly, Rajeev Shukla, Jay Shah, Pragyan Ojha and others present at the auction.

India opener Shikhar Dhawan has been sold for 8.25 crore to Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals picked Ashwin for Rs 5 crore, while Australian ace pacer Pat Cummins picked up by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 7.25 crore.

Shreyas Iyer has joined Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for the 2022 edition of the world’s richest T20 league on Saturday. The former Delhi Capitals skipper was signed for a whopping sum of 12.25 on Day 1 of the mega auction.
