IPL 2021 Suspended Indefinitely Due To Coronavirus

New Delhi: The Indian Premier League 2021 has been suspended indefinitely due to Coronavirus pandemic, confirmed the BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla.

The decision to suspend IPL 2021 comes as several teams including Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), and the latest being SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) report a breach in the bio-bubble with several players testing positive for the virus.

Indian Premier League, which kicked off on April 9, was scheduled to end on May 30.

However, with situation not being favourable for any matches, the BCCI today suspended the season indefinitely.
