New Delhi: India registered 8,013 new Covid-19 cases taking India’s total tally to 4,29,24,130, according to Union health ministry data updated on Monday.
India’s active caseload declined by 1,02,601. A reduction of 8,871 cases has been recorded in the active COVID-19 caseload in a span of 24 hours, it said.
On Monday, the country also logged 119 Covid fatalities in 24 hours, increasing the total reported toll to 5,13,843.
The daily positivity rate has been recorded at 1.11 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate has been recorded at 1.17 per cent, according to the health ministry.
The number of people who have recuperated from the disease increased to 4,23,07,686, while the case fatality rate has been recorded at 1.20 per cent.
