India vs West Indies final ODI today


Trinidad: India and West Indies will face each other in the final One-Day International match that will be played today in Port of Spain. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 PM.

Captain Virat Kohli is eyeing another major landmark as he can overtake former West Indies batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan on the list of batsmen with most runs in India-West Indies ODIs in the Caribbean.

Similarly, opener Rohit Sharma needs 26 runs to go past former cricketer Yuvraj Singh on the list of batsmen with most ODI runs. Yuvraj had gotten to 8701 runs in 304 ODI matches.

Rohit Sharma has 8676 runs 217 matches while Yuvraj Singh finished his decorated career with 8701 runs in 304 matches.

Sachin Tendulkar (18426), Virat Kohli (11406), Sourav Ganguly (11363), Rahul Dravid (10889), MS Dhoni (10773), Mohammad Azharuddin (9378), Yuvraj Singh (8701) are above Rohit Sharma on the list.

Meanwhile, Kohli, who went past Sourav Ganguly, to become the 2nd highest Indian run-scorer in ODIs on Sunday, has an opportunity to go past Jacques Kallis on the ODI batting charts. Kohli, who has 11406 runs, needs 174 runs to go past Kalli’s tally.
