New Delhi: India reported 2,68,833 fresh COVID cases (4,631 more than yesterday) and 1,22,684 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
India logged 402 covid-related deaths in last 24 hours.
There are confirmed 6,041 cases of Omicron.

Delhi, Mumbai and West Bengal, three hotspots in the latest wave of Covid infections, saw marginal dips in new cases on Friday. However Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka saw significant jump in numbers. The Centre said that asymptomatic contacts of Covid patients do not need to get tested.
