India reports 13,083 fresh COVID-19 cases, tally rises to 1,07,33,131

New Delhi: With 13,083 fresh cases, India’s COVID-19 tally has gone up to 1,07,33,131, the health ministry said on Saturday.

India also registered 14,808 discharges, while 137 people succumbed to the coronavirus infection, the health ministry said. The death toll has climbed to 1,54,147.

Out of the 1,07,33,131 coronavirus cases, 1,04,09,160 people have recovered and the active cases of the infection currently stand at 1,69,824.

A total of 19,58,37,408 samples tested for COVID-19 up to January 29. Of these, 7,56,329 samples were tested yesterday.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the country remained below two lakh for the 11th consecutive day.
