New Delhi: India logged 18,815 fresh covid cases , along with 38 deaths due to the infection in the past 24 hours, as per data shared by the Union Health Ministry.
According to the data shared by the Union Health Ministry on Friday (July 8), the total active cases of COVID-19 in India have risen to 1,22,335. The total death toll in the country is now at 5,25,343.
The recovery rate is at 98.51 per cent and the daily positivity rate was 4.96 per cent. So far, 198.51 crore vaccine doses have been administered under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
