Ind vs Ban, 1st Test: R Ashwin becomes third Indian bowler to pick 250 Test wickets at home

Indore: Ravichandran Ashwin bagged his 250th Test wicket at home during the opening day of the first Test against Bangladesh at Holkar Stadium in Indore on Thursday.

With this, Ashwin became the third India bowler to achieve the milestone after Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh.

Off-spinner Ravi Ashwin achieved the feat when he dismissed Mominul Haque during the 1st day of the Indore Test.

While Kumble leads the list with 350 Test wickets in India, Harbhajan Singh is not too far from Ashwin, having picked up 265 scalps at home.

Earlier, Bangladesh skipper Mominul Haque won the toss on his captaincy debut and opted to bat on a spicy surface in Indore.
