Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Regional Centre here issued thunderstorm and rainfall alert in several districts of Odisha in the next 24 hours.
According to the IMD’s latest bulletin, thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati and Ganjam today.
Light to moderate rain/ thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nabarangpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha today,” it added.
” No large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) during the next 5 days over the districts of Odisha. It will be above normal by 2 to 3°C at a few places over the districts of interior Odisha during next 4-5 days, ” it further stated.
