Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorological Department’s (IMD) regional centre here has issued thunderstorm alert for several districts of Odisha for today.
The alert has been sounded for Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada,Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi and Gajapati.
“Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha,” it added.
