Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday predicted that moderate rainfall or thundershower is likely to prevail in the State for the next two days.
While several places including South Interior, North Interior & South Coastal districts in Odisha witnessed rain in the last 24 hours, the weather remained dry in the rest districts of the state today, the IMD said.
The weatherman predicted that light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Nabarangpur, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Gajapati and Bolangir and light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.
A yellow warning has been issued for 11 districts. Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur tomorrow at one or two places over the districts of Nabarangpur, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Bolangir, Ganjam and Sonepur, the IMD said.
