Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorological Department’s (IMD) regional centre here on Thursday predicted rainfall activity in several districts of Odisha from January 10.
The alert has been sounded for the districts of Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Sonepur, Balangir, Kalahandi, Nuapada, and Nabarangpur.
According to the IMD’s latest bulletin, light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur in western Odisha on January 10 due to a western disturbance. Rainfall intensity is likely to increase subsequently, it added.
