Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) regional centre on Sunday issued dense fog alert for five districts of Odisha.
As per the latest weather bulletin issued by the IMD today, dense fog cover is likely to prevail over five districts tomorrow. A yellow warning has been issued in this regard for the districts of Boudh, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Puri and Kalahandi.
Following this, the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) has issued advisory and asked the police and transport officials of respective districts to take necessary steps for controlled plying of vehicles on highways during dense fog to avoid any road accident.
