Boudh: A country-made pistol manufacturing unit was busted at Sileipada village under Manmunda police limits late on Monday night following which police have arrested one person.
The arrested person has been identified as Shesadeb Bindhani.
Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid at a house in the village and arrested Bindhani where he was manufacturing the guns.
Besides, two pistols, four country-made guns and other explosive materials were seized from the possession of the accused.
Further investigation into the incident is underway, said sources.
