IFS Officer In Vig Net; Several Places Including Odisha, Mumbai Raided

Bhubaneswar: A 1987-batch IFS Officer landed in the traps of Vigilance department after sleuths raided his office and residences on charges of amassing property disproportionate to his known sources of income.

The officer has been identified as Abhay Kant Pathak and is serving as Odisha Additional PCCF ( Plan, Program and  Afforestation).

According to sources, separate teams of the anti-corruption wing are conducting the search drive at five places in Bhubaneswar, seven in Mumbai and Pune of Maharashtra and few places in Bihar on the strength of search warrants issued by Vigilance Special Judge Court Bhubaneswar.

Searches are being conducted at Pathak’s farm house at 115, Hill Town area in Bhugaon and a flat at God’s Blessings Apartment in Koregaon Park.
