Bhawanipatna: Vigilance sleuths today caught the ICDS Supervisor of Kutrukhamar Sector in Bhawanipatna Block in Kalahandi district while taking Rs 10,000 bribe to pass a bill.
The accused has been identified as Radhamani Dei, Supervisor of Integrated Child Development Services at Kutrukhamar in the district.
According to reports, the accused had demanded the amount from an Anganwadi worker, Simantini Naik, of Kurumchuan Anganwadi Centre in the same locality, for passing a bill under Supplementary Nutrition Programme (SNP).
“In this connection, Koraput Vigilance P.S case No. 04 dtd. 11.01.2021 U/s 7 P.C (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered and is under investigation. The entire bribe money has been seized,” the Vigilance said in an initial report.
