Sundergarh: The driver of a hyva truck had a close shave after the vehicle caught fire on the premises of a cement factory under Kutra police station area in Sundergarh district.
According to reports, the incident occurred when the truck parked inside the factory came into contact with a low-lying 33 KV live wire. The driver soon noticed flames coming out from the rear of the truck.
He immediately jumped off the vehicle and escape without any injuries.
However, the truck was gutted in the fire.
On being informed, fire tenders were pressed in service to douse the flames.
Later, Kutra police reached the spot and launched a probe into the incident.
