Huge Jumbo Herd Continues To Wreak Havoc In Mayurbhanj’s Village

Mayurbhanj: A huge herd of 18 elephants has been marauding in the Aktapal village of Jasipur block under Dudhiani forest range and is raiding crops and damaging houses.

Reportedly, the pachyderms continued to wreak havoc at the village by destroying crops and breaking into houses in search of food.

On receiving information, the forest personnel reached the spot and launch an operation to drive away the wild pachyderms.

While an atmosphere of panic has set in the nearby villages, locals are spending sleepless nights to keep themselves and their farmlands safe from the marauding elephants.
