Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological department here on Wednesday predicted that hot and humid condition will continue to prevail across Odisha for the next four to five days.
Bhubaneswar Regional Met Centre officials told the media that mercury will stay two to three degree Celsius above the normal level in the next four to five days.
Though extremely hot climatic conditions are predicted, there will be no heat wave, officials added.
Currently, the heat wave condition is extremely severe in the interior and western regions of the State with Talcher and Titlagarh continued to reign on top of the mercury charts.
However, the twin cities of both Cuttack and Bhubaneswar registered 40 Degree Celcius and escaped the heat wave by a thin margin.
