New Delhi: Honor has launched a new tablet called Honor Pad 8 in China. The tablet is the successor of Honor Pad 7 which was launched last year. Honor launched the Pad 8 globally in August this year. The tablet comes in a single storage option.
Price
Honor Pad 8 is priced 1499 Yuan (Rs 17,695 approx.) for 4GB + 128GB storage and 1799 Yuan (Rs 21,240 approx.) for 6GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 128GB variant is priced 1999 Yuan (Rs 23,600 approx.). The tablet comes in three colour options — Mint Green, Dawn Blue, and Dawn Gold.
Honor Pad 8 Specifications
The Honor Pad 8 comes with a 12-inch LCD panel with 2K resolution. The tablet boots pack an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC and run the MagicUI 6.1. The Pad 8 ships with 128GB of onboard storage option. For optics, the tablet houses a 5MP front shooter for selfies and video calling.
Also, it provides a myriad of connectivity options including Bluetooth v5.1, OTG, and dual-band Wi-Fi. It has an 8-speaker setup, coupled with Honor Histen and DTS:X Ultra.
The tablet uses a 7,250mAh battery, which supports 22.5W fast charging. The tablet’s dimensions are 174.06 x 278.54 x 6.9mm, and it weighs about 520 grams.
