New Delhi: Home Minister Amit Shah has tested negative for the dreaded coronavirus, according to the tweets of BJP leader Manoj Tiwari.
He was admitted to Medanta hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 on August 2.
The Home Minister had himself announced on Twitter that he got tested after showing initial symptoms of the novel coronavirus.
Shah was part of the last meeting of the Union Cabinet held at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence last week.
Sources said that social distancing was strictly followed at the cabinet meeting along with wearing of masks. The source also stressed that most physical meetings are avoided and video conferences are preferred.
