Puri: Lord Jagannath and his siblings underwent the ritualistic purification through Maha Snana on Tuesday.
According to reports, the ritual was performed after a devotee reportedly vomits near the ‘Bhitara Katha’ of the shrine.
Following this, the rituals of Lord Jagannath and his siblings were delayed.
It is worthwhile to mention here that, in case any untoward incidents in the temple premises, the Maha Snana ritual of the Holy Trinity is performed.
