Bhubaneswar: In order to keep the family members of patients updated about their health condition, the Odisha Government has made it mandatory for the establishment of a dedicated Help Desk in all COVID treatment facilities of the state. The help desk would function 24X7.
The decision came after the State Government received a number of complaints from the relatives failing to get any feedback on the status of the patients at COVID facilities across the state.
The State Health & Family Welfare Department on Sunday issued an advisory regarding setting up a dedicated help desk in all COVID treatment facilities mandatorily.
