Jharsuguda: Naba Kishore Das, the former Health Minister of Odisha has left everyone physically, but his soul remains with us, said his daughter Dipali during the 12th day ritual of the slain minister.

Speaking at a condolence meet organized at Sarabahal High School ground, Dipali said “the day when my father left us physically, I thought that I became orphan. But, now I felt that he left behind a big family-the entire Jharsuguda. He always dreams big for the district. Some of of his dreams remained unfulfilled. We all come forward  and collectively fulfill his dreams which would be a fitting tributes to the departed soul.”

“I never thought that ‘Late’ would be added before my father’s name”, she said while getting emotional.

“Whenever I used to come on stage to say something, my father would sit in the back and listen to my speech and say, ‘Deepali, you spoke well.’ But, today he is not with me, but I feel his soul is always with me and keeps encouraging me”, Dipali said.

The Condolence meeting was attended by a host of leaders cutting across party lines. CM Naveen Patnaik and secretary (5T) VK Pandian also attended the meet and paid floral tributes to the immortal soul.
