I have no idea on oppression of Uighur Muslims in China :Pak PM

Davos: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan said he does not know what is happening in China’s Xinjiang region when asked about the plight of Uighur Muslims there.

He told reporters on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum that he will speak to the Chinese privately about the matter.

Khan has been maintaining a deafening silence over the issue despite overwhelming evidence of systematic suppression of Uighur Muslims in China.

China has continuously defended its horrific treatment of the Uighur Muslims, Kazakhs and other Muslim minorities as an effort to curb Islamic terrorism claiming that the internment camps are vocational skill development centres.
