Harshal Patel top-scored for the men in blue with a 36-ball 54 smashing three sixes and five fours. Apart from Patel, Dinesh Karthik also scored 34 off 26 deliveries.
Brandon Glover was the pick of the bowlers for Northamptonshire claiming three wickets. In reply, Northamptonshire were bowled out for 139 in 19.3 overs. Saif Zaib top-scored for the hosts with a 35-ball 33.
For India, Arshdeep Singh, Avesh Khan, Harshal Patel and Yuzvendra Chahal bagged two wickets each.
