Subarnapur: A newborn girl was discovered abandoned along a roadside in Tulundupali Village, within the jurisdiction of the Binika Police limits in Subarnapur District, on Saturday morning.
A local resident found the infant, realizing she was alive, swiftly transported her to Binika Community Health Centre for treatment. The baby’s condition is reported to be stable.
There are suspicions that the child may have been buried shortly after birth. She has since been transferred to the Sonepur District Headquarters Hospital for additional medical. The couple who rescued the infant having been childless for nearly years, has expressed their desire to adopt her.
