The Government of India on Tuesday announced new changes to the NITI Aayog composition, approved by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The chairman of NITI Aayog is the Prime Minister, with Suman K Bery as the Vice Chairperson.
New full-time members include Dr. V. K. Paul, Arvind Virmani, V. K. Saraswat and Prof. Ramesh Chand.
Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Defence Minister Raj Nath Singh and Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan as ex-officio members.
Special invitees include Nitin Jairam Gadkari, H. D. Kumaraswamy, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Jual Oram, and Chirag Paswan.
Other special invitees are Jagat Prakash Nadda, Lalan Singh, Dr. Virendra Kumar, Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, Annpurna Devi, and Rao Inderjit Singh.
