Global Covid-19 Caseload Tops 204.6 Mn With Over 4.30 Mn Deaths
Washington: Covid-19 is continuing to spread around the world, with 204,722,127 confirmed cases and 4,325,690 deaths across nearly 200 countries recorded since China reported its first cases in December 2019.
The US remains the worst-hit country with 36,891,686 cases, followed by India, Brazil, Russia and France.
US cases currently account for almost 18 per cent of the nearly 204 million global cases, while the country’s COVID-19 deaths account for roughly 14 per cent of the more than 4.3 million virus-related fatalities worldwide, showed the tally.
