Cuttack: The body of a young girl has been recovered from a canal under the Khaira Bridge in Jagatpur area of Cuttack city. The identity of the deceased girl is yet to be ascertained.
According to reports, the matter came to the fore after some locals spotted the body of a young girl floating in the canal under the Khaira Bridge in Jagatpur area of Cuttack and immediately informed the police about the same.
On being informed, police reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem. Further investigation is underway in this regard.
