New Delhi: Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad has fumed over BJP’s decision to send 36 union ministers to the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir.
Azad has criticized the saffron party over its plans and questioned ‘who they will meet there’. Reports said the ministers are slated to hold 51 meetings in the newly-formed union territory between January 18-25. They are expected to create awareness about the Citizenship Amendment Act.
Reports said the prime agenda of the drive is to create awareness about the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). However, according to agency reports, the ministers will also interact with the local population to understand their views on bifurcation of the state after the abrogation of Article 370.
