Koraput: A tanker, carrying a flammable gas overturned on a road and fell into gorge near Maa Kala Bhairavi temple at Jeypore Ghati in Koraput district on Wednesday.
Following the incident, the driver of the tanker has reportedly died while the helper has been admitted to a nearby hospital.
According to reports, the incident took place when the gas tanker was on its way from Visakhapatnam to Raipur when it hit a stationary truck. As a result, the tanker skidded off the road and overturned.
On being informed, ODRAF team, police, and an ambulance reached the spot.
