Ganjam: In yet another case of jumbo attacks in the state, at least two persons were injured after being attacked by the elephants under Digapahandi forest range in Ganjam district.
The injured persons have been identified as Debraj Sahoo and Santosh Sahoo of Singipur village.
As per reports, the incident occurred while the duo had gone to their farmland when pachyderms attacked them.
The injured persons were immediately rushed to Digapahandi health centre.
Following this, the forest officials have initiated an investigation in this regard.
