Koraput: The Lamtaput police seized ganja weighing around 18 kg from Kangrapada Chhak in Koraput district and detained a youth for allegedly transporting the contraband.
The accused has been identified as Bhagaban Dandasena of STI Colony, Koraput.
According to sources, the seizure iccured while a team of Lamtaput police was performing patrolling in Machhkund area when they halted a speeding motorcycle near Kangrapada.
After a thorough search, cops found 18 kg of the contraband and detained the accused.
