Ganja Plantation Destroyed By Cops In Deogarh


Deogarh: Police on Wednesday carried out a raid and destroyed illegal ganja cultivation spread across a 2000 square ft of government land near Kodopada Nuasahi in Deogarh district.

Acting on the directives of the Deogarh SP, Rahul Jain, a police team led by Barkot inspector-in-charge Rajendra Kumar Mohapatra conducted a raid near Kodopada Nuasahi area.

During the raid, the police found cannabis plantation spread over the 2000 square ft of government land. The officials then uprooted and destroyed the entire ganja plantation.

While an investigation into the matter is underway, appropriate action will be taken against the culprit as per the law, added IIC Mohapatra.
