Game of Thrones final season trailer sees the Stark siblings reunite
London: HBO has finally dropped in the first trailer of Game of Thrones final season and the video hints that the ‘Winter has finally arrived’.
The new teaser, which runs just under two minutes, also announces that the show will premiere from April 14, 2019.
The fantasy-drama trailer features three of the Stark children – Arya, Sansa, and Jon Snow – reunite in the family crypt in Winterfell, as an icy wind heads their way.
Ned and Catelyn’s voices from earlier episodes are heard to the trio to the where they stop and surprisingly right in front of their own statues. A feather is prominently featured in the trailer, and it serves as a strong connective tissue to earlier seasons of the show.
While the torch blows out, the icy wind not only collapses everything on its way including the feather, it leaves the Starks on high alert.
While fan theories are doing rounds on social media, viewers have to wait for the final season to be on air to find out what it has in the store. Meanwhile, it is also evident that a war is about to ensue, but fans are left bewildered with many theories regarding the storyline of the fictional show.
Game of Thrones’ eighth and final season will consist of six, feature-length episodes.
