New Delhi: Many states have started easing travel restrictions and have also removed the compulsory RT-PCR test on arrival. Several states such as West Bengal, Kerela, Meghalaya, have now allowed travellers with both doses of the vaccine to enter the state without RT-PCR test.

Hare are some Indian states exempting travellers from the RT-PCR test if they have taken both doses:

If you arrive in Odisha without a negative Rapid Antigen Test/RT-PCR report or final vaccination certificate then you will have to undergo quarantine.

In Maharashtra, domestic and international passengers with both doses do not need to provide a negative RT-PCR report to enter if they have completed 15 days since the second dose of the vaccine.

Uttarakhand state government recently announced that fully vaccinated air travellers will now be allowed entry without the mandatory negative RT-PCR or Rapid Antigen test report.

The West Bengal government earlier said that travellers who can provide a certificate that shows that they are fully vaccinated are allowed to enter the state.

Kerela no longer requires a negative RT-PCR test result from travellers entering the state with both doses. The government of Kerela made this decision on grounds that the Covid-19 vaccination was ‘progressing well.

People entering Meghalaya has to register themselves at the government portal before their travel. A person will be exempted from testing if they possess a valid final certificate of vaccination.
