Four Places In Odisha Record Temp Above 39°C

Bhubaneswar: The heatwave conditions remained unabated in Odisha as the temperature soared above 39 degree Celsius in at least four places on Friday.

According to the latest bulletin, Bolangir district in Odisha turned out to be the hottest places in the state with a maximum temperature of 39.7 degrees Celsius.

Sambalpur, Talcher, Titilagarh and Sonepur followed closely behind with the highest temperature touching 39.5 degree Celsius, while Angul and Hirakud recorded 39.1 degree Celsius, it said.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) today predicted that there will be no large change in maximum temperature over the districts of Odisha during the next 3-4 days.

The maximum temperature is very likely to be above normal by 3-4 degrees at many places over the districts of Odisha including Bhubaneswar city during the next 3-4 days.
