Mayurbhanj: Forest officials have arrested two poachers from Similipal National Park in the Mayurbhanj district.
The arrestees have been identified as Lachaman Kandeyan and Sama Munduri, residents of Edelbeda and Kashibeda.
According to reports, the officials have conducted a raid and arrested the poachers. The officials have also seized a pair of bow-arrow, trap, meat, and horns of Sambar deer were seized from them.
Following this, a case under Section 9, 27, 31 and punishable by Act 51 with wildlife protection Act.1972 was registered and they will be produced in Court.
