Balasore: A senior official of Balasore Wildlife Division has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19. Following this, the district collector has directed to close the Divisional Forest Office in Kuruda.
According to sources, an Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) working in the aforementioned office has tested positive for COVID-19.
By the order of Balasore Collector, the office of divisional forest officer at Kuruda has been closed for two days — July 15 and 16 — to protect other employees working at the office after an Assistant Forest Conservator’s COVID-19 test result came out positive.
Earlier, two employees of the Regional Transport Office (RTO) have tested positive for COVID-19 in the district.
