Washington: The US Navy has suspended flight training for Saudi students in the wake of deadly Florida naval base attack on Friday.
Flight training for more than 300 Saudi Arabian students at three bases in Florida has been suspended.
The Navy on Monday evening restricted all Saudi students at the three bases in northern Florida from flying for an undetermined period of time.
This flight restriction will affect 140 students at Pensacola Naval Air Station and 35 at nearby Whiting Field.
Another 128 students lodged at Naval Air Station Mayport, on the Atlantic seaboard, are also restricted from carrying out flying exercises.
