Boudh: A five-year-old boy was electrocuted to death at Kankala village under Dhalapura Panchayat of Harabhanga police limits in Boudh district late last night.
The deceased has been identified as Rajat Behera, son of Arun Behera.
According to sources, after having dinner Arun asked his son Rajat to bring his cell phone as they were sleeping at the terrace. While Rajat was heading to bring the mobile phone when he accidentally came in contact with the refrigerator ware and sustained grievous burn injuries.
He was immediately rushed to the hospital where the doctors declared him dead. On being informed, police reached the spot and launched a probe in this regard.
