Sonepur: As many as five inmates of a Children’s Home in Sonepur were tested positive for COVID-19, informed Chairperson of Child Welfare Committee, Himansu Bhusan Nayak on Monday.
As per reports, authorities had conducted COVID-19 test after a girl with symptoms tested positive in an antigen test. Following this, four others were found positive for the virus.
Reportedly, two inmates are symptomatic while the remaining three are asymptomatic. Their health condition is stable and they have been kept in isolation at the Children’s Home.
