Paradip: A fishing trawler with six persons on board capsized in the sea near Nehru Bangla fishing harbour early on Tuesday morning. However, all the fishermen were reported to be safe.

The incident occurred early at around 5.30 am today while the trawler was returning to Nehru Bangla fishing harbour. Due to lack of visibility triggered by fog, the boat rammed into the ‘Black Rose’ ship, which sank in the sea in 2009 and toppled.

The fishermen reportedly managed to swim and rescue themselves.

The boat, along with various fishing equipment, sank completely this morning, sources said.
