Cuttack: Tension ran high at Regional CT Scan in SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack city after a fire broke out at the Regional CT Scan here on Sunday.
No casualties have been reported as patients were safely evacuated from the spot.
According to available information, the fire reportedly broke out due to short circuit.
On being informed, fire tenders reached the spot and doused the flames. Reportedly, no major damage has been reported in the hospital.
Earlier on Saturday, a fire broke out at the Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU) ward of Sishu Bhawan (Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Post Graduate Institute of Paediatrics) in Cuttack.
