Filmmaker Karan Johar’s wax statue unveiled in Singapore Madame Tussauds


Singapore: Filmmaker Karan Johar on Thursday unveiled his wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Singapore. The director was accompanied by mom Hiroo Johar.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the photos of the statue on his Twitter handle.



Karan Johar became India’s first film-maker to have a wax statue at Madame Tussauds in Singapore.

Apart from unveiling his statue, the filmmaker has also inaugurated a new area in the museum which celebrates Indian cinema.

Karan launched an ‘ultimate film star’ experience, a 2,500 square metres new zone dedicated to Indian cinema. It will utilise interactive technology like AR, Kinect, Hologram and physical special effects giving visitors the chance to dance and act their way into the hall of fame alongside noted Indian celebrities.
