Fatal Army Chopper Crash Left 13 People Dead; Still No Information On CDS Rawat

Chennai: As the fatal crash of an Army chopper left 13 people dead out of 14 members, bodies have been referred for DNA testing.

Meanwhile, it is yet to be confirmed whether CDS Gen Rawat’s body is among them or not.

It is totally clear that one of them–Rawat or his wife died in the mishap. However, no immediate information on the condition of Gen Rawat is available.

Sources said that the identities of the bodies to be confirmed through DNA testing.

The accident occurred at the Nanjappanchathiram area amid heavy mist and early visuals showed the helicopter in flames.
